Buonasera from Bavaria!
It's Easter Sunday and we're with family, so this intro stays short ◡̈
If you’re new around here: Every week, I share 5 of the nicest products from Europe I’ve discovered in the past 7 days.
I scout, you explore.
With love 🌞

P.S.: Missed the last edition? The privacy-first Jolla phone from Finland was the most-clicked product.
Outdoor Market Folding Sofa 🇩🇰 🇬🇧
From HAY and Jasper Morrison comes an outdoor sofa. Morrison based the stripe on a traditional Basque pattern he found at a flea market, and the whole thing folds flat, has carrying handles, and comes with a matching bag. Garden furniture does not have to look like it belongs next to a plastic flamingo. I can picture myself sitting on this sofa on the beach and watching the waves.
Vespera Pro 🇫🇷
From French company Vaonis comes a telescope for people who want the stars without first earning a PhD in astrophysics. The Vespera Pro auto-points and tracks through the Singularity app, uses a Sony Starvis 2 sensor, and can create live panoramic images up to 50 MP. Battery life is listed at 11 hours, which is longer than most people’s willingness to stay up on a weeknight.
Supertiny 100W 🇨🇭
Rolling Square, the Swiss team behind a long list of crowdfunded gadgets, is currently on Kickstarter with a 100W charger that it says is the world’s smallest. It weighs 100 grams is about as small as an airpod case and the early-bird campaign is live now.
Yunomi Nº2 Tee Cups 🇧🇪 🇮🇹
Studio Dennis Kaiser is based in Tuscany, and the Yunomi Nº2 takes the Japanese handleless tea cup and gives it a very tactile Italian version. I like the proportions.
Cortel dal Pan 🇮🇹
This one's made 40 minutes from where I live. A bread knife from Val Badia, made by Isifer, a metal workshop in Lungiarü. Stainless steel serrated blade, stratified handle, 224 grams. Only available through Alta Badia tourism cooperative partners (and a small online shop), which means most people will never come across it.
