Space-age espresso ๐ bending light ๐ marble sound โ #52
5 new design finds from Europe youโll actually want to see.
Buonasera from Merano!
Welcome to this weekโs installment of whatโs hot in brands and products.
Today was a very geometric Sunday.
First, I watched the Minecraft movie with my son โ and walked out with square-shaped eyes plus a working knowledge of 9-year-old secret code. (Ender Head, Redstone, Nether portal... fluent now.) ๐จ
Then, we swung by the Merano Flower Festival and loaded up on peonies shaped like perfect little spheres. ๐ฃ
Turns out, the pyramid is still the most stable shape โ in architecture and graphic design.๐บ
No wonder Egypt still has better architecture than most of Europeโs shopping malls. (Exceptions exist โ Markthal in Rotterdam, youโre safe.)
Anyway, back to less pixelated, more beautiful things: Every week, I share five of the coolest products Iโve come across in the past 7 days.
I scout, you explore. Letโs get to it!
With love ๐

Pivot Table Lamp [๐ฉ๐ฐ]
Speaking of shapes: The first find is part lamp, part geometry lesson.
The Pivot Table Lamp is a sharp little tower that holds a movable steel sheet and lights your room without blinding your cat. Designed in Copenhagen by Moebe, itโs minimal, clever, and just adjustable enough to feel like youโre in control of something today. ๐ Light up your better angles
Natural Stone Speaker [๐ฉ๐ฐ | ๐ฎ๐น]
When a Danish sound wizard (Bang & Olufsen) meets an Italian marble sculptor (Antolini), you get this: a speaker where clean sound meets solid stone โ simple and built to last. (Price on request, because if you have to ask...)
๐ Turn your living room into a design week installation
Vintage Chrome Rocking Chair [๐ฌ๐ง]
Straight out of an โ80s sitcom where the dad wears Hawaiian shirts and gives questionable advice.
This polished chrome beauty rocks โ literally and figuratively.
Customizable stripes, big personality, not beige.
๐ Rock some vintage energy
Mina Hand Espresso Machine [๐จ๐ญ]
Space-age looks. Swiss precision. Espresso that could power a small spaceship.
The Mina Hand espresso machine by Olympia Express even comes with a travel case โ which, trust me, is priceless when youโre the kind of person who packs a hand grinder, specialty beans, and a V60 filter for every trip.
It isnโt cheap, but hey โ neither is daily happiness brewed whenever you want, wherever you are. ๐ Beam yourself up with good coffee
Colorful Switches [๐ต๐ฑ]
Tiny but mighty.
These playful switches prove that good design is in the details โ and that even the smallest things can make a space feel bold, fresh, and personal.
๐ Flip your space into something special

Reply with a #1 to #5 โ or just tell me what youโd actually buy. always curious what makes the cut.
Know a tiny European brand doing cool things? A ceramic teapot from Malta? A wall clock from Sweden shaped like a goose? Iโm always chasing down the beautiful, the strange, and the overlooked.
